For digital tech, we were disigning many cool things like games, robots, etc.

i was thinkng about an invention, but i got the felling of my invention will be useless. so i thought of minecraft. but i coild not think of an idea. So i made a game about sky-lands and mountains and caves (it might of took inspiration from the caves and cliffs update from minecraft)

The project went well, it may of had bugs and stuff, but it was atleast what i could do in 7 weeks straight.

so i am a developer now, yaaaaay.

Buisness and enterprises 2021

 For buisness and interprises, we were to make Objects, Drinks, toys, and more

I have learned alot from this. I was the CEO of my group (Toys Of Ender) and i had learned how to buy under a budget, write a perfect letter to the mentor, And Making a small but good keychains of minecraft mobs.

The desisions were important to me, because if we did everything my way, we would of blown our budget into bits. it was the right idea to make keychains insted of statues

To make our product. we just had to use templates of the charecter and make them via the lasercutter. it was short, simple, and straight to plan.

I think the product was successful because we have made a profit of 22 or 20 dollars. and selling all 12 keychains

I showed the values of commitment, achivement, resilience, and respect. Because I committed to the task, I had achived my product, I hold strong when i was not selling that much, And I respected the customers when they were chooseing what key ring.

The book of Human rights

Article one is a page of the book of the universal decration of human rights. And for the book "Abomination" Artical one was broken for Martha. Artical One says that "everyone is born to be free and equal" But for Martha, Freedom was a struggle for her.H er parents were Religious, no music, no proper clothes and more that Martha hated. She wanted to be free from her religion, and she was not the only one that was trapped by her parents. This makes the reader feel sympathy towards Martha and Jim because It would be hard living a caged or a poor life.

Jim was trapped for 7 years by martha's parents, They even called him "Abomination". This is another breach of artical one, He wants freedom but he can't.So Abomination (Robert Swindell) Had deminstraited about article one and how the freedom of article one was broken

Year 9 Gymnastics

Hey readers

For the past 4 weeks, we have been doing gymnastics in PE. we have been using 6 apparatus - bar, beam, parallel bars, mini tramp, floor mat and trampoline

One challenge was trying to balance myself on the bar

one acheviment was almost doing a handstand

Gymnastics might not be my cup of tea, but its fun just to give it a shot.

Gaming has changed from the 1950's to 2020

 Technology has changed gaming to it's core. let me show you how it was made

In the past 63 years, playing games was very good at entertaiment

It has changed both in popularity and more games.

From a tennis game like pong into HD games like Call of duty, Fortnite, Roblox, and Minecraft

Roblox is a social/gamer platform, Minecraft is all about survival and speedruns, call of duty and fortnite are PVP 3rd/1st person shooter games

There was games like Pac man (one of the most beloved games out there), then nintendo came iwth there new Donkey kong game, Then leading to mario and more retro games like sonic the hedgehog by SEGA

Game these days is very good, like new HD graphics, Mods for them, and more. but games like pac man and sonic bring nostalga to people who played games for years.

My holiday of Wonder!

 In the holidays, I have done alot of things. So let me show you

2 weeks ago, I was playing Minecraft with my friends from greymouth. We made a world of creative because we had alot of amazing ideas

My friends did alot of things like making Rick and Morty's house, or making a concert of 21 pilots. But i did a spynx and a dragon

1 week ago. I was going to greymouth because i wanted to see how my friend's house looked like and it was small but good to sleep in and play Xbox in. 

Then My friend showed me the game's called Gang Beasts, Ultimate Chicken horse, and Crash Kart Racing

We also went swimming but the hydro slides and showers were out of bounds due of covid 19. and did minigolf for the final day

When i was going back to hornby i tried do duck pizza (its worth to die for)

After all, I had a blast with my friends from greymouth. and maybe i can come there after christmas

PROLOGUE

Somewhere in a different dimension…

“THIS DIMENSION IS GOING TO GET DESTROYED!” ??? said as they panicked in fear. A cure for a disease went wrong. It was infecting everyone, Turning them into beasts of Teal and purple. The substance was a type of fungi-like mold. Luckily some people fled in time… but not their Guardian… The Guardian keeps the dimension in balance for years. They have moved to another dimension before the dimension was corrupted with the infection. The corruption spread to the rest of the dimensions Infecting everyone that it touches... 

CHAPTER 1, Another day at School

Somewhere on Earth… 

In the cafeteria of New Script High, There is the person we need… here's when the story begins. Alpha was watching videos on his laptop while having lunch. Alpha is a 13-year-old boy with blond hair and average intelligence. Someone came to him and mocked his name “Wassup, Goat Alpha” Greg said while laughing.

Alpha just ignores it and carries on. That’s when Greg punched him in the face. “OW, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?” Alpha says with a bruise on his face “Nobody ignores me, NOW GIVE ME YOUR MONEY”.

“No, Im tapped out”. He punches Alpha in the face again “CAN YOU STOP WITH THE PUNCHING, NO WONDER YOUR SUCH A DROPOUT!” Everyone’s jaws dropped. Greg was furious. He was about to punch me so hard that Alpha would get knocked out but the teacher stopped him and sends him home with a suspension for 5 days.

Everyone came to Alpha with disbelief. “YOU WERE SO CLOSE FOR A BEAT UP, ALPHA” a guy in the crowd said. “Look, I see what nobody sees. And what I see is someone that needs mental health (not being mean and all)” Alpha said.

45 minutes later…

“The bell is about to go” Alpha said. Then we hear a crash that sounded like a meteor. It shot a Teal and purple fungus at our school. “WOAH,” Alpha said in shock. It’s crawling inside the window. It has infected one person, Turning that person into a beast with a crystalline tail. We all panicked in fear and ran out of the room. Some people got infected while we are running for our lives.

Alpha hit the alarm saying we are in distress. Alpha was the last student that exited the school. Then Alpha realized something… The earth is apocalyptic with a hue of purple. Alpha quickly went on his motorized scooter and sent it onto max speed. But the beast was coming closer. “OH NO NO NO, THINK ALPHA THINK” alpha said with no ideas. Then he found a cliff he could jump to. “THAT’S IT”. 

The beasts were one second closer to him, be he jumped over the cliff with his scooter. He was not going to make it. So he jumped off his scooter to make a double jump. He landed… but not his scooter… he did a quick barrel roll and ran, looking behind the monsters made of fungus. “TAKE THAT SONS OF A B-” before he could finish his sentence, he was sucked into a portal… 

CHAPTER 2, Forgotten Forest

Alpha is screaming in fear. The 1st minute he was about to finish school and the next he is traveling through a wormhole. “WHERE AM I GOING??” Alpha said. He gets out of the portal in a crash. “...Woah” When Alpha got up, he found himself in a forest of glowing trees and vines.

“Oh, no. What to do??” alpha says in a worried state. Then Alpha remembers when He played Minecraft for the 1st time. “Looks like we are going to play Minecraft, BUT IN REAL LIFE!” Alpha said. Alpha grabs a rock from the ground and Bashes a tree with it.

The tree has some metal plates in it “Well that’s Oddly… Convenient. So he makes an axe made out of 3 bits of metal plates and a small branch. While he was making his sword made of that metal, Those beasts came behind him. Alpha turned behind to find that these beasts were about to swipe a scratch on him. But before he got scratched. Someone in a motorbike came to save him.

The ominous figure that saved him looked like a 16-year-old girl with purple veins. “Hold on tight, Sir” That woman said, “WHO ARE YOU ANYWAY!” Alpha yelled. They both parked the motorbike in a safe place. “The name is Nova” She replied. “Oh, Okay. By the way, WHAT IN THE FRICK HAPPENED” Alpha said.

“It all happened long ago. You see, there are dimensions created by the Guardian of time. One of them went into Corruption from an infection. And it’s coming to our dimensions. So Im the last of my kind. And so is you” Nova said. “So… Humanity rests in my hands” Alpha said “Wait, Your Human?” Nova said “Uhhhh, Yes?” Alpha said

“Im Centarian, Centarity to be exact” Nova said “Wait, a-Alpha Centauri! We are close” Alpha said. Then a meteor comes and lands onto Nova “RUN!” nova said. Alpha runs into the forest while Nova is fighting the beasts. Alpha is running for his life and his humanity. Then he finds Mini pocket portals.

“Hmmm,” Alpha has an idea. He jumps into one of the portals. He is an ocean of purple water. He finds a scythe made of matter “These dimensions are So Fricking bent up” Alpha said in his mind. He grabs the scythe and goes back before the portal closes. “Why am I so lucky? Now, I need to get a car” And one second later, another motorbike comes from the portal to earth. “Yep, I can tell now,” Alpha said. “IM COMING FOR YOU, NOVA!” alpha said using the motorbike

CHAPTER 2.5, Return to safety

Nova was about to be scratched by one of them. Alpha swooped in bashing one or two beasts in the head and grabbing her hand. “You… You saved me” Nova said. “Dont sweat it, just here to help” Alpha said. They made it to a spot where they switch places on the bike.

They were going to an abandoned building that looked like a crashed up UFO on a Semi-broken pillar. “We are here, Our safe spot” Nova said. “Hmm, looks abandoned” Alpha said.

A gate opens to find Alpha and Nova sitting there. “Guys, say Hello to Humanity” Nova said to her gang “Uhhhh, Sup?”. “Oh, Hello Human!, Im Firey” an axolotl/dragon hybrid said to Alpha “Wow, You look very cool, Fiery. Im Alpha!” Alpha said with is hand out. Alpha and Firey Shake hands. “Good to meet ya, Alpha”. 

(Finaly, People that like me) Alpha thought in his mind. “So, What do you think, Our other friend is asleep” Nova said. “Like a new man” Alpha said. “What do you mean by that?” Nova said. “Well back at Earth, I was bullied by people all because I have a useful imagination. And Finaly, I get Friends that i can count on, and those friends are you guys” Alpha said. 

“Oh… Thats is sad to hear, Alpha. Atleast you survived your planet” Nova said. Alpha looked at nova with a “-_-” face. “Look, im not good at sympathy. Okay?” Nova replied “look, we just need a way to beat this… Infection and go back to our homes!” Alpha said with pride. “And we will help ya do that!” Nova and Firey said with inspiration. “THEN LETS DO IT!” Alpha yelled with his own pride “YEAH!” All of them said.

In 1975 , a march was called by a 75 old lady named Dane Whina Cooper. So out task was to make a Google Earth about the locations they made on the trip.

The google earth made it easy then just looking on google and pasteing words on a doc, something new.

The challangeing part was remembering the countries

Minecraft (a topic of a lockdown activity)

After the great fight between human and dragon, the Ender Dragon was defeated By the final blow of an explosive bed. The curse of respawning was broken. The Enderman turned back into humans, everyone cheered that I broke the curse of the Ender Dragon. I found something in the sky. It looked like the End portal.... But different.

I managed to get up there and threw an ender pearl, leading me to The End Cities, When I entered there was this strange fruit, so I broke the plant and it gave me chorus fruit. When I ate it, I teleported somewhere near where I just ate it. Then I found something in the distance.

There was a ship with some kind of structure. I walked to it, Almost fell to my demise because there was a huge gap, So I used my Ender Pearl again to fling me to the end city. I entered it and it seemed abandoned. But as soon as I climbed up.

The blocks came to life, These are called shulkers. And surprisingly they can help me levitate to the top. And there it was, The top floor with the beloved Elytra, but there was another shulker. So I killed it and got the elytra, There were 2 chests next to it.

 I looked in one, there was nothing. But the next one was glowing. I opened it and I saw the most Overpowered Loot I could find. 10 diamonds, a looting lll netherite sword, an infinity bow with power Vl, 25 fireworks, and an unbreaking lll pickaxe. So I came to the top and Flew to the overworld… The journey is over...

Scientists know that the atmosphere (the air we breathe in) is warming up with Carbon dioxide.

As the air gets more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the trees can't take in that much. With more trees dying, the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is growing faster.  

 

People are making it worse. Because people are wanting more land, making the trees either turn to paper or wooden planks. This is called deforestation and it's happening RIGHT NOW!

 During term 2 Me, Patrick, Jared and Liyah made a parties for our "election" we called ourselfs Creative communities

We made a speech and a poster about our goals and what we needm to do

We needed people to make ideas to make the climate better

so today when we spoke our speech, everyone loved it. We have won the task

Journey of heat chemistry

This term we have done chemistry and i liked it a lot.

Conduction - Conduction is when heat moves into a cold space

We did an experiment where we would put drawing tacks with Vaseline and heated a metal rod up. the tacks dropped 

Convection - Is when heat makes a light material rise up 

we did an experiment where we would drop a potassium crystal into a straw and as the purple liquid floated and moved to the other side 

Contraction -  contraction is where something squeezes itself making it contract

We did en experiment where we heated a ball on a stick and a metal ring on a stick. the heated ball and the water made the ball shrink

Expansion - Expansion is where something grows bigger or becomes bigger, much like the big bang 

Same with that other experiment we heated the ball up that made it expand

Heat is where particles moves with a lot of energy this makes heat spread 

The "ing" and "ed" in sentences

 Use the "ing" version of the verb like to chat - chatting

Remember- When you finish our -ing phrase, place a comma, then write the rest of the sentence

some "ing" words: listening, watching, running, realising, emerging, gossiping, speaking, analysing, signalling.

Sentence: 

Gossiping people, they decided where to go out for the night.

Listening to the music from the city, they looked over the horizon.

Speaking to each other, they discussed life in general.

Enjoying the meal I got, I saved some for later.

Watching a fantastic show, it was the best night I could ever dream of.

The "Ed" sentence

use the "ed" version of the verb. this makes for a punchy start to your sentence

Remember - when you finish your "ed" phrase, place a comma, then then write the rest of the sentence. 

Sentence:

Surprised to see theirs a new movie I liked, I made plans with friends to see it.

Committed to my hockey team, almost winning the game.

Playing the game, was fun, now i can go home.

2 weeks ago we did a minute speech of what leader we liked

Shark infested custard ._.

 In period 5 we played a game that shows Inter-personal skills

The main types of Inter-personal skills were listening and communicating

The game was called Shark infested Custard (why .-.)

The main aim was to get to the other shore (the over end of the court)  without getting eaten by the sharks (falling off the hula-hoop) 

It went well that all I can say even though my team was the last to finish 

Making dirty water

 Aim: To make dirty water and make it back to normal freshwater

Method: Added water with dirt, pebbles and oil.

Diluting it by declining the dirt inside the solution by adding water and also by Filtering it with filter paper and cloth

Discussion: solute is another word for solid and Solvent is another word for liquid. the solution is the thing we created like the dirty water and filtrate is the thing that got filtered down using filter paper or any other thing that filters liquid

Conclusion: The experiment was a success the water was a little bit yellow but at least it got all the dirt gone. i wouldn't change anything because its good enough

Nesian Mystik

Nesian Mystik originated from auckland in 1999

The topic of their music is hip-hop, blues, rhythm, rap and so much more

The albums they had are 99AD, Elevator musiq, Freshmen, and polysaturated.

(storyline) They were a new zealand band that originated in auckland 1999. There united as a diversity of polynesia by bringing cook island, tongan, somoan, and maori culture to new zealand

They originated in auckland (just like nesian Mystik) in 1972

The Records they made are called: Mushroom Records, A&M Records and Chrysalis Records.

(storyline) Split ends were a new zealand Rock band that united in auckland (1972) The main hosts of the band were Tim Finn and Neil Finn and made more members into their rock band. The the APPA Awards they got the title “top 100 new zealand songs of all time” more then any band.

Timelines of plauges

Journey to the digestion system

 It all begins when we ingest a piece of food like an apple the chew'd up apple goes through the oesophagus where it does a technique known as peristalsis. Peristalsis is when the body moves food by a movement. after the oesophagus its the stomach, that where digestion starts. when the food lands in the stomach it gets absorbed by the acid leaving the waste behind then it travels to the liver. the liver produced a liquid that smells called bile . the bile breaks the food even more and makes it more slippery to pass.

when its done the lower intestine breaks down even more nutrients from the fecal material which takes the energy to the bloodstream. and finally the large intestine where bacteria called E-coli break the rest of the energy and it get ejected into the toilet

The time the Wi-Fi was disabled for 2 days

 Fire was across the carpet. Pitch forks were strucked on the ground and it was all because of a little reason that i had... Before we go on let me give you a reason how this happend...

It all started in period 1 8:40 I had noticed that my Bluetooth headphones were a little bit off  so i need help from my friend jrae and it didnt work it might of been either the Wi-Fi or some kicking me off my headphones. period 3 11:20am the Wi-Fi was a lil bit slow but it was still there the day has come to an end and i came home Today period 1-2 8:30 - 9:30 It was chaos a lot of paper everywhere, people screaming ands when i cam on my chrome book the Wi-Fi was disabled a few moments later i was the only one that had the Wi-Fi and thats how it came now on the story the I.T people pressed the button and the Wi-Fi was rebooted everyone was happy and we lived as usual

You can say that i cant live without Wi-Fi now XD

Athletics 2021

Athletics is a series of events during PE

There are many types of athletic sports

There are some techniques to them for example:

Shot put = get momentum by rocking or side hustle - 5.2m 

Discus = hold the discus on the palm and hold it on with 5 fingers. - 11.33m

High jump = make the right timing when you jump -  1m

Long jump = get more speed by pushing yourself - 1m

100m sprint = move your arms back and forward like long jump - 28sec

And Relays = go as fast as you can to reach the person

I made sure i got my PE gear every Monday and Wednesday
