The "ing" and "ed" in sentences

 Use the "ing" version of the verb like to chat - chatting

Remember- When you finish our -ing phrase, place a comma, then write the rest of the sentence

some "ing" words: listening, watching, running, realising, emerging, gossiping, speaking, analysing, signalling.

Sentence: 

Gossiping people, they decided where to go out for the night.

Listening to the music from the city, they looked over the horizon.

Speaking to each other, they discussed life in general.

Enjoying the meal I got, I saved some for later.

Watching a fantastic show, it was the best night I could ever dream of.


The "Ed" sentence

use the "ed" version of the verb. this makes for a punchy start to your sentence

Remember - when you finish your "ed" phrase, place a comma, then then write the rest of the sentence. 

Sentence:

Surprised to see theirs a new movie I liked, I made plans with friends to see it.

Committed to my hockey team, almost winning the game.

Playing the game, was fun, now i can go home.

dated the time, get my friends to come over, and we came to the cinema.

Watched the full movie with my friends, very good time with my friends.
